Sarah and I concluded our transatlantic Seabourn cruise and the half day tour of Lisbon. We then were taken to the airport where we caught a cab to our hotel, the Hotel Avenida Palace, arriving around noon.
We checked in and found, as expected, Stephen T. had already arrived. Sarah's room was not ready yet. We took our luggage up to the room Stephen and I will share. Stephen was taking a shower and was preparing for a nap to overcome his jet lag. Sarah and I found the bar for a welcome cocktail.
Sarah and I then walked about a block and found the Lisbon Hard Rock Cafe where we had lunch. https://www.hardrockcafe.com/location/lisbon/
We both had the 7 Colinas Local Legendary Burger. It was interesting and tasted good.
Back to the hotel, we settled into the lounge to await Sarah's room to be prepared.
About 3:30 pm, the room was ready. Stephen was up from his nap. Sarah consulted the conceieger about a supper recommendation. They suggested the As Velhas and made a reservation for 7:30 pm. It was a good suggestion.

We had a nice bottle of Portuguese white wine.
It was not a large place, maybe sitting about 30.
The treated us with a glass of cherry dinner wine for desert.
Then back to the hotel to retire. Sarah will take a cab to the airport around 7:00 am to catch a 10:30 am flight. Stephen and I have a full day guided tour starting at 9:00 am.
